Effective October 29, 2026. This page explains, in plain language, what information this site does and does not collect. It is short because the honest answer is short: this site collects almost nothing.
A static site, on purpose
Fairways and Paws is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. There are no user accounts, no comments, no contact form, and no email list or newsletter to join. There is nowhere on this site to type in personal information, and the site itself does not ask for any. Reading a review here is like reading a printed page — it leaves no trace with us beyond the aggregate counts described next.
Analytics, without cookies
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies. The measurement is privacy-first by design: it does not fingerprint visitors, does not build profiles, and does not follow anyone around the web. The current configuration also excludes visitor data from the European Union. What reaches us is totals and trends — pages viewed, approximate geography, referring sites — never a record of an individual reader.
Affiliate links and other websites
Fairways and Paws uses affiliate links. If you buy something through one of those links, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Fairways and Paws also has a referral arrangement with Bully Bunches: if you buy through a Bully Bunches link on this site, the site may earn a referral benefit — again at no extra cost to you.
Those links lead to merchants such as Amazon.ca, Bully Bunches, Golf Town, and YETI. The moment you click one, you have left this site, and the merchant’s own privacy policy and cookies govern what happens there — accounts, checkout, and payment details are handled by the merchant, under the merchant’s rules. We never see your payment information or the details of your order; merchants report only aggregate referral totals. The full commission picture lives on the disclosure page.
What we never do
We do not sell personal information — we do not hold any to sell. The site runs no advertising trackers and shares no reader data with data brokers or third parties for their marketing. The only information the operator receives is the aggregate analytics above, and whatever a reader voluntarily includes if they choose to make contact.

Updates to this policy
If these practices ever change, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date at the top. Effective date: October 29, 2026.
